With Upkeep And Maintenance Underway, Ten Lakh Electricity Consumers In Lucknow Face Power Outage Today

Lucknow, March 16 (TNA) The electricity department will shut down power at Kanpur Road-Unnao and Kanpur Road-Sarojani Nagar underground cables between 9 am to 6 pm. Due to this, the supply of 11 substations connected to Kanpur Road, Lucknow substation will be affected.

Due to improvements at the Chinhat sub-centre, electricity will be switched off from 6 to 9 am. Due to this, the electricity of 33 KV substation Shivpuri UPSIDC, Shalimar Corp, Spring Developer, BBD and JP Nagar will be disrupted. Electricity from 220 KV power sub-centre Kanpur Road to 13 sub-centres Utretia Old and New, Sampurnanand, Nadarganj New and Old, Bani, Airport, Bijnor, Ambedkar University, Mansarovar, Ashiana, Shakti Square, Indralok will remain closed from 9 am to 6 pm on Sunday.

They will be supplied with electricity from an alternative source. Electricity will remain disrupted from the university sub-centre to Old Badshahnagar and around Indra Bridge from 10 am to 5 pm. From this sub-centre, supply will be disrupted from 11 am to 12 noon from 1st to 7th street of Goyal Complex, Nishatganj.

In Aishbagh, from 10 am to 3 pm, in the locality Ch Colony, Vikasnagar, under Talkatora sub-centre, from 10 am to 4 pm, Sector 4, 6 Ch 9, Gandhinagar, Sat Kadhir Lane, Shyamnagar, Khurramnagar, Ashok Vihar. Jankipuram from 10 am to 5 pm 60 Fita Tiraha, City Law College, Seeche Wear Farhan Colony, Sector 1 to 3 Ext. Kunti Apartment, Highway Plaza, Annexe Plaza, Samriddhi and Crown Apartment under New and Old Aldico from 10 am to 5 pm in Raksha Khand.

In Uttaretiya, the work of constructing the ABC line and repairing transformers will be done in Ramatola, Defense Colony from 10 am to 4 pm. Under Indralok sub-centre, from 11 am to 1 pm, G and F Block Indralok, near Bharat Mata Mandir, from 1 pm to 3 pm, Vijay Nagar, Manas Nagar Old Chungi, Lecteracy House, Vishnu Lok area. In Hussainganj from 11 am to 5 pm, Shiyali Marg, Maqboolganj, Ashiana Apartment and surrounding areas.
