World Health Day Observed At Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh, April 7 (TNA) To mark World Health Day, the Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC), working under the Department of Community Medicine, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, organized several events to spread health awareness among common people. The events included a quiz for the interns and activities like treasure hunt and skit.

Ashhar Ayaan secured the first position in the quiz while Deeksha Singh won the second position and Hamza Ansari and Aniket Srivastava shared the third position. Dr Shivangi Kumari, Dr Danish Kamal, Dr Syed Sohaib Hashmi, Dr Ajitha S, Dr Mohd Bilal, Dr Ameer Ayyub and Dr Prabhakaran S conducted the quiz.

Harshit Kumar Varshney and Faiz Khan won the treasure hunt event which was based on two rounds and three teams participated in the competition. A skit was organized on the theme, “My Health My Right”, with the interns participating in the event. The events were held under the guidance of Prof. Saira Mehnaz (Chairperson), Dr. Tabassum Nawab (MOH) and Prof. Uzma Eram, Member-In-Charge, RHTC, Jawan.
