At a recent high-level meeting, Yogi had expressed great displeasure over the negligence in revenue-related matters. Revenue Council Chairman Rajneesh Dubey recently reviewed the revenue-related matters. Showcase notices have been issued to revenue officers, ADM, SDM, Naib Tehsildar and Tehsildar level officers for negligence in revenue-related works.

Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra also held a meeting regarding revenue-related matters. During this, he reprimanded the careless officers in settling revenue-related matters in various districts of the state. The Chief Secretary has also found that the performance of Kanpur Nagar, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Chitrakoot and Balrampur is not good in real-time Khatauni. Similarly, the percentage of Khatauni revision and share determination has been very low in Varanasi, Sonbhadra, Ballia, Mainpuri and Gorakhpur.

Only about 50 per cent of the share determination work has been done in these districts. At the same time, work is going on at a very slow pace in Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Barabanki, Jaunpur and Ghazipur in preparing Gharauni under the ownership scheme.
