Yogi Asks Cops To Sternly Deal With People With Caste Indicators On Vehicles

Varanasi, August 19 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has said that no one should be allowed to drive by putting caste indicator boards on the vehicles. This should be effectively banned. Those who write Brahmin, Jat, Rajput, Gurjar on car or bike will be dealt with sternly, the chief minister directed the officials.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who is on a two-day Varanasi tour also took serious note of the incidents of chain snatchingand directed police officials to have zero tolerance to even small incidents of crime.

The CM said that the under-construction development and construction works should be completed within the prescribed time limit on a war footing. He also underlined the need to ensure that the benefits of the beneficiary schemes are made available to the eligible beneficiaries on priority in every case.
