Yogi Directs UPPCL To Ensure No Electricity Outages On Dhanteras, Diwali

Lucknow, Oct 20 (TNA) Battling off and on power outages for many months, the people of Uttar Pradesh have finally something to smile. This, as UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the UP Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) to ensure no power cuts during the festival of lights-Diwali and even on Dhanteras.

Following these instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Power Corporation management is busy in making preparations to ensure 24-hour power supply, keeping the state free from power cuts from Dhanteras to Deepawali. Energy Minister AK Sharma said that on festivals like Dhanteras and Deepawali, instructions have been given to supply cut-free electricity to the entire state.
