Yogi Govt Presents A Rs 6.90 Lakh Crore Budget, The Biggest In The History Of UP

Lucknow, February 22 (TNA) The Yogi Adityanath-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government on Wednesday presented the biggest budget - of Rs 6.90 lakh crore in the history of the state. New schemes worth Rs 32.721 crores have been included in the budget.

In his budget speech, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that UP has a big contribution in the country's GDP and pointed out how the state government had recently organized a grand Global Investors Summit (GIS). Uttar Pradesh has become the engine of growth, he added.

Investment is coming in UP from India and abroad. The unemployment rate in UP has come down to 4.2 percent. This is an important achievement of the state. The UP government is continuously working for the development of the state.

More than 33 lakh crore has been invested in GIS. The growth rate of UP has increased. Investment is increasing in Uttar Pradesh, the FM further pointed out.
