Yogi Greets Padma Awardees From UP, Says State Proud Of Their Achievements

Lucknow, January 26 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has congratulated the eminent personalities selected from the state for the presitigous Padma awards. He said that the eminent personalities who have been honored with Padma awards in various fields have done remarkable work in their respective fields keeping the interest of the society and the country paramount, which has benefited the society and the country.

Former UP Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Late Kalyan Singh (Public Affairs), Late Radheshyam Khemka (Literature and Education) of Uttar Pradesh have been awarded the Padma Vibhushan posthumously.

Apart from this, Rashid Khan (Arts) and Vashisht Tripathi (Literature and Education) of Uttar Pradesh have been honored with 'Padma Bhushan' award. Also, Kamalini Asthana and Nalini Asthana (Arts) from Uttar Pradesh jointly, Shivnath Mishra (Art), Sheeshram (Art), Seth Pal Singh (Other-Agriculture), Vidya Vindu Singh (Art. Literature and Education), Shivanand (Other-Yoga), Ajay Kumar Sonkar (Science & Engineering), Ajita Srivastava (Arts) and Kamalakar Tripathi (Medicine) have been honored with 'Padma Shri' award.
