Lucknow, June 14 (TNA) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who reviewed a presentation of the GIS-based Master Plan-2031 for Khurja, Bulandshahr, and Moradabad Development Authorities in a high-level meeting in the state capital on Thursday has issued instructions to merge Khurja and Bulandshahr Developement Authorities.

Khurja and Bulandshahr are constituted as two separate development authorities, despite having significant economic, commercial, industrial, cultural, and social similarities. The entire area falls under the same district,

Bulandshahr. To create long-term development plans and implement them smoothly, it is necessary to combine both authorities into one large development authority.

Khurja’s ceramics industry is well-known both nationally and internationally. In 2021, ceramic products worth 23 million US dollars were exported. There is still a lot of potential in this sector. It is necessary to expand facilities according to the needs of the entrepreneurs and craftsmen involved. Provide them with market access and construct aceramics market.

Jewar International Airport is near Khurja. Khurja is also getting the benefit of Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridor.
