Lucknow, Sep 28 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath led the political fraternity in Uttar Pradesh to laud the decision by the Narendra Modi led NDA government at the centre on Wednesday to ban the Popular Front of India (PFI) for five years for its complicity with terrorrists. The saffron-robed chief minister in a tweet said that this was “new India” in which there was no place for anybody trying to threaten the security of the nation.

“This is new India, there is no accepatibility for terrorists, criminals and anti-nationals who are a threat to the country” he stated. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya also welcomed the decision and said that any anti-national forces will not be tolerated by the Modi government.

Senior BJP leader and former UP minister Siddharth Nath Singh has also patted the Modi government for the decision to ban PFI for five years. Adding that he supported and welcomed the decision of the union home minister Amit Shah, Singh said the decision also reflected the firm committment of the Modi government towards the internal security of the country.
