Yogi Orders Installation Of High-Quality CCTV Cameras In All Police Stations Of UP

Lucknow, July 12 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions to officials to ensure installation of Close Circuit TV Cameras (CCTV) in all police stations of the state.

At a meeting with senior officials of Uttar Pradesh Police, the chief minister said that officials should immediately prepare a 'Standard Operating Procedure' in this regard.

This work should be done with top priority and good quality cameras must be installed in police stations where public hearings are held, he underlined. He also directed officials to organize special programs for women, children, elderly and differently-abled people at the district level once in every month.

“Listen to their problems, solve appropriately. Identify successful women, children, elderly, disabled and present them as role models. This effort will be inspiring to others” he stressed.
