Yogi Prays At Kashi Vishwanath Temple For PM Modi’s Long And Healthy Life
Varanasi, January 6 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday did a ‘rudrabhishek’ at the fabled Kashi Vishwanath temple and Kaal Bhairav in Varanasi for a long and healthy life of prime minister Narendra Modi. The prayers by the saffron-robed monk-turned-politician were part of similar acts by other BJP chief ministers and party leaders.
This, as there was an alleged security lapse in the security of the PM on Wednesday when he was stranded for over 20 minutes on a flyover in Punjab, something which led to sharp reactions from the BJP top brass which alleged that it was a conspiracy by the Punjab government to bring harm to the prime minister.
In Madhya Pradesh, where Shivraj Singh Chouhan chanted the Mahamutyunj mantra earlier in the day praying for Modi’s long life.
After offering prayers, Yogi said, "the PM has the blessings Baba Vishwanath and Kalbhairav”. Yogi had on Wednesday expressed his displeasure through three tweets one after the other. He wrote, "The mess with the security of PM Modi during his visit to Punjab under the patronage of the Punjab government is a living example of the chaos and disorder prevailing in Punjab. The Congress-ruled Punjab government should apologize to the people of the country for this” he had tweeted.
