Yogi Propitiates Gods At Gorakhnath Temple Ahead Of Filing Nomination Papers

Gorakhpur, February 4 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath propitiated the Gods at the famoius Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur before setting out to file his nomination papers for the state assembly elections. The saffron-robed chief minister performed a hawan and conducted a rudraabhishek before his nomination.

He will be filing his noimination papers later in the day in presence of union home minister Amit Shah who along with some other senior BJP leaders will be accompanying Yogi. This is for the first time that he is contesting a state assembly election though he has been a five time Lok Sabha MP from Gorakhpur. Currently he is an MLC in the UP State Assembly.
