Young Girl Arrested In Maharajganj With Cannabis Worth Crores
Maharajganj, Oct 16 (TNA) SSB and police personnel on Friday arrested a young woman with 10 kg 370 grams of charas from Sobra village near Thoothibari border of India-Nepal. The value of the recovered charas is being estimated at Rs 4 crore 16 lakh in the international market, an official informed.
A case has been registered against the girl under the NDPS Act and further action has been initiated. SSB officers posted on the border had received a tip-off that a huge consignment of narcotics was kept in a house in Sobra (Kishunpur) of Thoothibari, Indian territory.
Based on the information of the informer, SSB 22nd Battalion and Thoothibari SHO Sanjay Dubey, SI Bhagwan Baksh Singh, Head Constable Sunil Yadav, Prabhakar Singh, Manohar Singh, Vikram Bahadur Singh, Constable Dhananjay Yadav, Shivam Mishra, team of lady constable Pooja Tiwari reached Sobra. .
Searches were conducted in the house of the girl. During this, 10 kg 370 grams of charas was recovered in the sack. Thereafter the girl was arrested. The girl has been identified as Pooja Bharti of Sobra (Kishunpur) of Thoothibari.
