Young UP Cop Offers His Competitive Exams Preparatory Notes To Wannabe Civil Service Aspirants, Wins Hearts

Lucknow, December 13 (TNA) Its not every day a police officer wins your heart. But then times are changing and so it the DNA of Indian Police Service (IPS) officials, especially in Uttar Pradesh, a state, till not so long ago, infamous for its insensitive men-in-khakhi!

And so this time it is IPS Akash Tomar, the incumbent district police chief of Etawah who has done a noble gesture, worth reporting about.

The 2013 batch IPS officer has volunteered to share his notes made during the UPSC preparations. In a tweet from his official handle, the young cop has written: If anyone needs my 2012 UPSC notes (in typed form), they can send me a request.

He further explained the motive behind this offer as he said that this was being done so that wannabe police officials

"Can get an idea about how notes should be made during Preparation for civil devices". He promised that one the interested young men and women reply to this post with their mail id's, the notes will be mailed to them.

Later on Tomar uploaded a an iCloud link which had more than 305 PDF notes. Cop, you won the hearts of many and we are sure that your notes would be of such great help to aspiring candidates for the Civil Services.
