Youth Arrested In Prayagraj Trying To Smuggle Cell Phone To Criminal Lodged In Naini Jail

Prayagraj, March 15 (TNA) A youth was arrested with mobile at the gate of Naini-Central Jail. Officials say he had come to sneak it to western UP shooter Anil Dhanpat lodged in the jail by hiding the phone in a ghee box. “The young man carrying Android phone charger and SIM inside polythene in a 5 liter ghee box had crossed the check at Gate No. 1” the official further informed.

But he was was caught at gate number 2. The prison guards caught hold of him and took him to the Senior Jail Superintendent from where he was handed over to Naini police. A nominated FIR has been lodged against the accused on behalf of the Jail Superintendent.

Senior Jail Superintendent Shashi Kant Singh told that during the meeting a boy had come to Naini jail with a box of fruits and ghee. On the other hand, apart from Shiv Prasad Tiwari and Hanuman Tiwari, residents of Arail of Naini Kotwali, the vicious criminal Anil alias Dhanpat's son Narendra Rai, who had been transferred from another jail on administrative grounds, had reached to meet Kakadipur Ramala Baghpat.

During interrogation, he admitted that on request of an advocate, he had come to deliver the mobile phone to jailed Anil alias Dhanpat Rai.
