Four Indian Found Dead On US-Canada Border Identified As Family From Gujarat

Toronto, January 28 (TNA) The Indian High Commission in a statement has said that the Canadian authorities have identified four bodies found at the Canada-US border, They have been identified as Jagdish Baldevbhai Patel (39), Vaishaliben Jagdishkumar Patel (37), Vihangi Jagdishkumar Patel (11) and Dharmik Jagdishkumar Patel (3).

They had reportedly died of cold while trying to cross the border between Canada and the US. The High Commission said that the families of the deceased were residents of Gujarat and they died due to extreme cold.

The Indian High Commission further said in its statement that the Canadian authorities have also informed after medical examination that depending on the circumstances, all the people died due to exposure to the external environment. It is probing whether four members of a family from the state had taken the help of local agents.
