Indian Embassy In Ukraine Issues Advisory, Calls For Calm And Staying Indoors
Kyiv, February 24 (TNA) The Indian embassy in Ukraine has issued an advisory for Indians living there after Russia ordered a full blown invasion on Thursday. The advisory addressed to “Indian in Ukraine” terms the present situation as “highly uncertain” and goes on to advise them to “maintain calm and remain safe wherever you are, be it in your homes, hostels, accomodations or in transit”.
It goes on to say that “all those who are travelling to Kyiv, including those traveling from western parts of kyiv, are advised to return to their respective cities temporarily”. “Please go back, specially towards safer places along the western bordering countries”. The embassy has also said that further advisories are in the offing and will be sent to them from time to time”.
