King Charles III Proclaimed British Monarch, Funeral Of Queen Elizabeth II On Sep 19
London, Sep 10 (TNA) After Queen Elizabeth II passed away agaed 96 on Thursday, King Charles III was on Saturday officially proclaimed as British Monarch. He was officially proclaimed as King Charles III by the accession committee.
With the announcement of King Charles III, several new orders were passed as there was a change in anthem from 'God save the Queen' to 'God save the King’. With this development, Prince Williams and Kate Middleton who were Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge will be presented by the title of Duke and Futchess of Cornwall respectively.
Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have left the royal family but their children Archie and Lilibet could be conferred the titles of Prince and princess. King Charles III in his first media appearance after the death of his mother paid tributes and praised Queen's reign. King Charles III proclamation was done in St John's Palace London in front of a ceremonial body known as Accession body.
Meanwhile mourners flock to Palace gates to honour Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty's Funeral will be held on 19th September in Westminister Abby.
