US President-Elect Joe Biden Takes Coronavirus Vaccine

Washington, December 22 (TNA) Amid growing menace of the deadly Coronavirus, President-elect of the United States Of America, Joseph R. Biden Jr. was on Monday administered the Coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer on live television.

He was given the dose of the vaccine at the Christiana Hospital in Newark, Del. It is being seen as a reassuring message to the worried Americans that the vaccine was safe and that they too should follow suit and take the shot to prevent any infections and deaths.

Biden also credited the Trump administration for its work on Operation Warp Speed, which helped to deliver a quick vaccine.

“The administration deserves some credit getting this off the ground,” he said. “I’m doing this to demonstrate that people should be prepared when it’s available to take the vaccine,” Biden further said.
